What age should my dog be to start training?
Puppies can start learning as early as 8 weeks old. Our Puppy Foundations program is designed for puppies roughly 10–20 weeks, while our Manners & Obedience and Behavior Reset options are great for older puppies and adult dogs.
Do you use shock collars or punishment-based methods?
No. LightningZeusK9 uses reward-based, science-backed training methods that prioritize your dog’s emotional wellbeing. We focus on building trust, clarity and confidence instead of fear or pain.
Where do classes take place?
Group classes are typically held at our training space or a local park, depending on the season. Private Behavior Reset sessions can take place in your home or another real-world environment where behavior happens.
